Shrubby plant native to mountainous areas of Africa. Distinguished by its silver-hairy leaves, which provide the primary ornamental value, rather than the clusters of yellow flowers that appear throughout the growing season. Its leaves are somewhat aromatic. Best when regularly pruned.

Seedlings are tiny, slow-growing, and finnicky.
