Evergreen species from Madagascar with deeply lobed leaves, and light pink flowers with a dark purple center. Quite unlikely to be hardy in our Houston garden, if in fact my seed-grown plants are the real thing – apparently there are a lot of plants out there labeled as this species that are something else altogether. But I'm already seeing flowers in late spring after an early-spring sowing, so whatever I'm growing, it can be enjoyed as an annual.
