detailed seed-starting info below

Fast-growing evergreen shrub native to Australia with needle-like leaves extending like a jagged network to charming effect. In late winter or early spring, it produces an abundance of yellow pea-like flowers. The brown papery seedpods remain after flowering. May be sheared or pruned to enhance its naturally rounded form. Oddly, although its specific name nemophila means "woodland-loving", this species prefers full sun and plenty of heat.
