Agave x pseudoferox 'Bellville' |
 |
Since Bellville is within biking distance of our garden, I figured an agave cultivar named for the place would likely do well around here – so I got some seeds from the NARGS exchange to give it a try, hoping they will come true. From what I've read, 'Bellville' has medium-green sharply serrated leaves decorated in dinosaur-like bumps and ridges. The growth style is fairly upright on young specimens, but mature ones can reach 8 ft across.
