What's here?
Lots of plant portraits - and I hope to add many more as time
permits. The plants featured are all past and present denizens
of our Lush Gardens.
All of these photos are my own. If you like a photo and would like to use
it on your own website, or elsewhere, please read my about portraits page. Please let me know if you
disagree with any of the information in the plant details - if my
description doesn't sound quite right, I'd like to set it straight.
The list below only includes plants for which I've created a
portrait (with pictures). My always-growing plant database contains
many more plants, for which I do not yet have a photo (but often with
seed-starting tips and trial results, hardiness, and basic information). You
can find all of these by using the search feature below. All the plants in
my database are ones that I grow or have tried to grow in my garden.
I know all too well that gardeners are always looking for good information
about plants online. Standard results from search engines aren't always the
most helpful. You'll find two search boxes below - the first one searches in
my plant portraits (just in the botanical and common names), and returns just
results from robsplants.com. The second one launches a custom Google search
that emphasizes sites I find to be better at providing useful information to
gardeners. Good luck finding what you're looking for!
