Family magnoliaceae Life cycle tree (Z5-9) Flowers purple-pink (April) Light sun-part shade Our second magnolia from the little girl series, the first one being 'Betty'. Superficially, the flowers are similar, opening from a conical twist into a purple-pink explosion. Thus far, I haven't noticed reblooming of 'Ann', one of Betty's best attributes. But she's much younger. More updates to follow.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
