A 'Rainbow Mix' specimen Common name bitter-root Family portulacaceae Life cycle perennial Flowers pink (late spring) Size 4-6" Light sun-part shade Seed ripens late June Our first specimen of this succulent plant with flowers held on stalks delighted us for several years in our rock garden, before finally disappearing. So on the occasion of a complete redo of the rock garden, we acquired a new plant. I hope it likes its spiffy new home!
