Anemone cruciata |
 |
Got this in a seed trade, I don't think the species actually exists (zero results on Google!). This is how my trade partner described it: "Got it from overseas. I ADORE it! It is a single petal type, but larger than the "snow Poppy" or "A. sylvestris",..An off white color, and very lacey delicate foliage. WELL draining soil!"
It bloomed shily in its second year, and somewhat more abundantly in its third; I find it to be a charming windflower, not unlike several others we've grown.
