    you signed up to DMOZ. It will appear on every edit-side page. It is the address 
    to which all ODP-related communications will be sent. If this address is not 
    correct other editors and staff will not be able to contact you. To change 
    this address go to your profile and make the appropriate changes. Read more

  <li><a name="2"></a>Editor fora - The editor fora is a threaded message board 
    that facilitates communication between editors. It is recommended that you 
    read some of the ongoing discussions ('threads') to better understand how 
    DMOZ works. You can ask any questions you may have in the New Editors Forum.

  <li><a name="3"></a>New posts indicator - The number in brackets by the forum 
    link indicates the number of new posts since you visited last. The number 
    is updated when you refresh your dashboard page. </li>
  <li><a name="4"></a>The categories listed on your dashboard are those that you 
    are listed editor for. That means that you are able to edit them, and your 
    editor name appears on the bottom of the category page. To edit the category

  <li><a name="5"></a>Number of sites - This is the number of sites listed in 
    the corresponding category and, if applicable, all of its sub-categories.

  <li><a name="6"></a>Number of greenbusts - This is the number of greenbusts 
    awaiting review in the corresponding category and, if applicable, all of its

  <li><a name="7"></a>Number of unreviewed - This is the number of sites awaiting 
    review in the corresponding category and, if applicable, all of its sub-categories.

  <li><a name="8"></a>Number of errors - This is the number of 'Reds' listed in 
    the corresponding category and, if applicable, all of its sub-categories. 
    These are sites that have been flagged as being inaccessible by the automated

  <li><a name="9"></a>Bookmarks - Your bookmarks are your own personal workspace. 
    You can do anything in them, as long as it is not illegal. Read more on: <a href="/ddp/01003/">Bookmarks</a><b><i>

  <li><a name="10"></a>Resign as editor of a category<b><i> </i></b>- When you 
    resign from a category it disappears from your dashboard. Unless you are also 
    listed for a category higher up in the hierarchy, resigning one will leave 
    you unable to edit it. For instance, if you were listed in Arts/Music and 
    Arts/Music/Bands_and_Artists then you could resign the latter category, and 
    still be able to edit it. <b><i> </i></b></li>
  <li><a name="11"></a>This form allows you to request editing permissions in 
    another category. The request will be reviewed by a meta or staff member and

  <li><a name="12"></a>Report abuse - This form allows you to report either an 
    editor or a category for abuse. The reports are logged, and reviewed by meta 
    editors who will take the appropriate action. </li>
  <li><a name="13"></a>Watchlist - The watchlist is a device that allows you to 
    specify a URL that you want to be reminded of at a given time in the future.

  <li><a name="14"></a>List of meta editors - List of all editors with at least 
    one of the following privileges: root, meta, CatMod, editall, catmv, kmeta, 
    keditall, kcatmv. Root editors are shown first, then meta editors, followed 
    by CatMods, and editall/catmv editors. For more information see: <a href="/ddp/03006/">Editors: 
    Types</a> .</li>
  <li><a name="15"></a>Guidelines and Preferred Terms - The <a href="http://dmoz.org:8080/guidelines/">Directory 
    Guidelines</a> are essential reading. They are the canonical reference to 
    elements of style, taxonomy, and ethics. The <a href="http://dmoz.org:8080/preferredterms.html">Preferred 
    Terms</a> list is a compilation of standard category names. The list specifies 
    the name and scope of topical categories. </li>
  <li><a name="16"></a>ERZ and DDP - The DMOZ Documentation Project (DDP) is the 
    site that you are currently reading from. Its success inspired an official 
    version to be created (Editor Resource Zone), which included material from 
    DDP. ERZ is incomplete, and will eventually be replaced by an officially sanctioned 
    version of DDP.</li>
  <li><a name="17"></a>Tools for Editors - A vast resource containing many editor-produced 
    tools to help you edit easier and faster. It is well worth familiarising yourself 
    with its content.</li>
  <li><a name="19"></a>Find an Editor - This form allows quick access to editor-specific 
    logs. For instance, it lets you see the detailed edit history of a given editor.

  <li><a name="19"></a>Category Logs - This form allows you quick access to various 
    logs, that can be restricted by category. For instance, the new editor log

  <li><a name="20"></a>Change Password - This form allows you to change the password 
    you use to login as editor. Read more: <a href="/ddp/06006/">Authentication</a>

  <li><a name="21"></a>Change Profile - This form allows you to customise the 
    editor interface, such as the time zone, and the langauge you use. Also, it 
    lets you change your editor profile, which is accessed when people click your 
    byline on the categories for which you are listed, and your name in forum

  <li><a name="22"></a>Newsletter - The <a href="http://dmoz.org:8080/newsletter/">ODP 
    newsletter</a> consists of editor-submitted content, and is compiled by editor 
    <a href="http://dmoz.org:8080/editors/profile.cgi?editor=rpfuller">rpfuller</a>. 
    It is meant to come out monthly, but due to lack of content it is released

  <li><a name="24"></a>Help Wanted - List of categories that editor have suggested 
    are in particular need of attention. This can be in the form of a high number 
    of unreviewed, poor ontology, or descriptions that violate the guidelines.</li>
