Rosa x rehderiana

Rosa x rehderiana

Common name polyantha rose
Family rosaceae
Life cycle shrub
Light
From seed Germinate at room temperature, with exposure to light
detailed seed-starting info below

Hybrid between R. chinensis and R. multiflora. Despite its parentage, this one isn't on any invasive lists. Ours is of unnamed heritage. My seed trade partner has found that it can bloom in its first year, but I wasn't quite expecting to see it bloom a couple months after germinating, still under the basement growlights. I guess I'll find out soon enough what they will look like when they grow up!

In our garden, this plant grows in the following areas: herb garden, orchard nursery area
