Forms a low-growing mat of slightly succulent foliage, covered in white flowers early spring. Drought-tolerant.

More erecently, I grew the variety 'Snowfix' from seed. To the uninitiated (like me), it looks much like our old 'Snowcap'.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
