Loose clusters of pink flowers appeared in July of their second year. The next year, they came back fuller and better.

I like how the developing flower buds, which appear in late June, extend into pointy spears, giving quite a different look from that of other alliums we grow.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
