Sea thrift shows off green-and-purple foliage |
January 01, 2005. Happy New Year! Today was unseasonably warm (walking around without a coat, trying out my new electric chipper-shredder), although we've already had several nights down to 2°F this season. Armed with my camera, I went around snapping pictures of plants that are still growing green, in preparation of an article about evergreen plants that will hopefully materialize in the near future. It's amazing how many plants still have live foliage, even as dreary as the garden looks right now. |
